Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at City Furniture & Appliances. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, and co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units.
  • Organize warehouse and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Work Environment
