LifeLabs is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused individual to join our team in Thunder Bay, ON as a Dual Lab Technician and Medical Assistant. This part-time role offers flexible shifts up to 20 hours per week.

As a Lab Patient Technician, you will:

  • Greet patients, gather necessary information, explain the specimen collection process, and ensure they follow test protocols.
  • Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect Holter monitors, and conduct ECG tracings.
  • Handle special test collections (drug screens, paternity tests, clinical trials) and complete related documentation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by responding to inquiries and following up on requests.

As a Medical Assistant, you will:

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
