We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team at WCB Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to injured workers suffering from traumatic and/or cumulative psychological injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance clients' abilities to return to work.
- Complete psychological screens and treatment to address clients' psychological barriers to return to work.
- Facilitate psychology groups and conduct relaxation training classes to reduce the impact of disability-related issues.
- Mentor undergraduate psychology interns and supervise psychology residents.
- Assist with program development as required.
- Collaborate with psychology peers to ensure best practice.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Completion of an internship from a Canadian Psychological Association accredited facility or equivalent.
- Experience in an interdisciplinary rehabilitation setting involving the assessment and treatment of a variety of disorders.
- Training and experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy is an asset.
