We are seeking a highly motivated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Little Kingdom Childcare Inc. as a Child Development Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Planning: Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to support their growth and progress.
  • Childcare Support: Provide high-quality care and support to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of daycare equipment and facilities.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts to promote their learning and development.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit written observations and reports on children's progress to early childhood educators and supervisors.
  • Staff Meetings: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns or issues.
  • Behavioral Guidelines: Establish and maintain guidelines for children's behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
