Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our Department of Philosophy as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (or be ABD with a set defense date) in Philosophy, with a specialization in Ethics, broadly construed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses and supervise graduate students in their areas of specialization
  • Contribute to the Department's teaching needs at all levels
  • Engage in research and produce high-quality research outputs
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements
  • Ph.D. (or ABD with a set defense date) in Philosophy
  • Specialization in Ethics, broadly construed
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality research
  • Potential for securing research funding
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to teach in non-Western perspectives
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaborations
  • Potential to collaborate with researchers in bioinformatics, health sciences, and Neuroscience
