We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Manager to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a Digital Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy across our digital channels to ensure we maintain a strong and influential presence.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, briefing, scheduling, and execution of content creation for various marketing initiatives.
Serve as the SEO expert, enhancing content visibility and impact by optimizing content structure and keywords, analyzing trends, and implementing strategic improvements.
Manage and update the marketing resource center, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with brand goals.
Support product marketing with updates and changes to the website product copy and positioning.
Design and implement strategic email marketing campaigns to drive engagement throughout the customer journey.
Develop and execute a content strategy for our social media channels, ensuring alignment with company and marketing objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to provide best practices for content strategy, suggesting new content initiatives to ensure high engagement and best-in-class quality.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules and timelines, and maintain accurate records and materials.
Be a self-starter who thrives on collaboration and feedback, comfortable working independently and influencing cross-functional teams.
Utilize strong analytical skills to establish KPIs, draw key insights for optimization, and develop a data-driven approach to content strategy.
Requirements
3+ years experience as a Content Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role.
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent training.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Strong understanding of content management systems and content creation tools.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Basic copywriting.
Knowledge of Wordpress, Hubspot, Conductor and Asana or similar, are an asset.
