At OMERS, we're shaping the future of real estate and communities through innovative approaches and partnerships. As a Digital Content Strategist, you'll play a key role in crafting our digital narrative and driving business objectives through compelling content and social media strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive website traffic
  • Leading content planning and production across various platforms, including writing, editing, video, and visual asset creation for social media and web
  • Managing and growing social media accounts while ensuring consistent messaging and brand integrity
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on social media performance metrics to inform continuous improvement

As a Digital Content Strategist, you'll work closely with internal teams to align content strategies and campaigns across all channels. You'll also develop and execute a social media advocacy training program to support and encourage Oxford team members, growing our internal network of ambassadors.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about content, has a vision for how content informs brand strategy, and is comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver real business results. If you have a strong background in content creation and social media management, with communications and PR experience, and the ability to integrate these disciplines to enhance our brand's reputation and drive business objectives, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar or related role, preferably commercial real estate, investment, or finance background
  • Previous communications and PR experience, working on or within the same team, and the ability to integrate these disciplines into your work
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms to listen, track, and analyze data
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
  • Customer service-orientated approach
  • Ability to innovate and bring fresh solutions to problems
  • Willingness to share different perspectives to contribute to new ways to go beyond expectations
  • Ability to build relationships based in partnership and trust
  • Willingness to be flexible to accommodate colleagues across multiple time zones in a matrixed organization
  • Entrepreneurial approach and desire to build new models and practices
  • Has an eye for detail, spell check is not enough for this person
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving
  • Brings clarity and humanity to B2B language and jargon
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams
