Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Prime Time Donair & Poutine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of our signature donairs and poutine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision or a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Conditions

30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
