Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 0729886 BC LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure that sales floor operations are running efficiently and effectively, including managing inventory, processing sales, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as merchandising and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales staff to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
