Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through personalized service and support. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, cash handling, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive experience and are satisfied with our products and services.
- Manage cash handling and cash control processes, including nightly bank deposits, balancing cash, debit swipes, and cheque cashing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML and other provincial specific legislation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including loan applications and cash handling transactions.
- Participate in local store marketing initiatives, promoting our products and services to customers.
- Perform recovery calls on delinquent accounts and maintain exceptional inbound and outbound phone skills.
- Ensure client concerns are resolved and escalated as necessary, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
- 1-2 years of customer service or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Cash handling experience and knowledge of cash control policies and procedures.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
