Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for executing the organization's HR strategy, key projects, and initiatives. This includes employee engagement, performance management, and recruitment. You will work closely with operational leadership to provide HR services and support to our 350 operations employees and managers in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement human resources programs and services to support business objectives.
  • Own and execute special projects from end-to-end, setting and meeting deliverables and timelines.
  • Build relationships with employees and managers to foster an open-door policy and approachable manner.
  • Be the subject matter expert on human resources processes, programs, and policies.
  • Manage employee issues and provide guidance and expertise on interpreting and implementing human resources processes and policies.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent employee relations experience and a track record of providing HR advice and solutions to leaders and individuals.
  • Strong understanding of People Operations practices in Canada and experience supporting a geographically distributed workforce.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and implement processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with evidence-based decision-making abilities and the ability to research and analyze data.
