We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Fraser Plastics Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the fabrication and assembly of metal products.
Key Responsibilities- Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, as well as manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate metal products.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, performing repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and manual dexterity.
You will be working in a fast-paced fabrication environment, with a focus on quality and safety. Our team is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
