Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Nova City Building Concepts Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
  • Determine weldability of materials
  • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
