Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pressure Welder to join our team at Jewel Welding Fabrication and Coatings Ltd. in Maple Ridge, BC. As a Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling steel pipe in our shop and at various project sites around the province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and fabricating steel pipe to meet project specifications
  • Operating various welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders
  • Inspecting and testing welds to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Valid welding certification, CWB, SMAW, or FCAW
  • Minimum B level log book or equivalent
  • Class "A", "IT", or "R" certification from TSBC with the ability to pass internal procedural tests
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below waist
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Willingness to travel to off-site locations as needed
  • Must have own steel-toe boots and hard hat
