Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Care: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including medication administration and care tasks.
  • Medication Assistance: Assist residents with medication administration, including eye drops, eye ointments, inhalers, nebulizers, and other medications as delegated.
  • Wellness Monitoring: Monitor resident well-being and report any concerns to the care team.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Assist with common area cleaning and laundry duties as required.
  • Communication: Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous service and support.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program, Medication Certification, and current First Aid/CPR training.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • Criminal Record Check: Must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).
