Health Care Aide Job Description

At Glenmore Lodge Care Community, we're committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Health Care Aide, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and services that enhance the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises.
  • Monitor resident well-being and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
  • Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
  • Medication Certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) or a Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).
