Resident Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at SIENNA-BALTIC LAKEVIEW INC. As a Resident Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Job Summary:The Resident Care Aide will be responsible for providing personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring residents. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe environment, perform light housekeeping duties, and assist with meal preparation and serving.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Collect specimens, administer first aid in emergency situations, and provide companionship
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience an asset
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Criminal record check, immunization records, vulnerable sector check, and tuberculosis test
The Resident Care Aide will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with repetitive tasks, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be a team player.
