Job Summary

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of food service staff to ensure efficient and high-quality meal preparation and service. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Quality Control:
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service:
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
    • Prepare food order summaries for chef
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience:
    • 2 years to less than 3 years
    • Permanent position
    • English language required
    • 40 hours per week
