Job Description

FV Flooring Ltd. is seeking a skilled Wood Floor Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain our high standards.
  • Conduct thorough moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations.
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to prepare surfaces for new installations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong judgment and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
