About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Sakura Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supervising activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
