Senior Manager, Learning Cloud Technologies

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Learning to concentrate on the initial tactical deployment of Cloud education and the long-term strategic vision for Cloud learning to align with our Talent strategy.

This role involves identifying organizational needs and delivering impactful learning and performance-oriented programs tailored to the designated portfolio, supporting the overarching business strategy. The successful candidate will develop, promote, maintain, and actively oversee assigned learning programs, conducting regular assessments, analyzing outcomes, and providing actionable insights for improvements.

  • Strategic Advisory: Offer strategic insights into business decisions as a trusted consultant.
  • Leadership Recommendations: Advise senior management on strategies and new initiatives based on a comprehensive understanding of the organization.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an expert on relevant regulations and policies.
  • Influence and Negotiation: Utilize negotiation skills to achieve business objectives.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify emerging issues and trends to guide decision-making.
  • Program Effectiveness: Evaluate program effectiveness, consider industry trends, and recommend enhancements.
  • Sustainment Strategies: Design measurable strategies for sustainability, assessing and recommending mitigations for specific risks.
  • Business Case Development: Construct business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing potential returns on investment.
  • Resource Planning: Recommend business priorities, advise on resource needs, and develop strategic execution roadmaps.
  • Learning Strategy Definition: Define the learning strategy to meet business objectives and seek approval.
  • Independent Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and assessments to resolve strategic challenges.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Define business requirements for analytics to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Program Insights: Break down strategic challenges and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track program performance and address any emerging issues.
  • Reporting: Create regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Communication Strategy: Lead the development of communication strategies aimed at positively influencing behavior.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Operational Program Execution: Oversee the execution of operational programs, adapting as necessary to maintain quality.
  • Risk Management: Investigate and document program risks, advising senior leaders of any concerns.
  • Learning Program Strategy: Support the development of the learning program strategy to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Solution Development: Provide solutions and recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Performance Gap Assessment: Offer guidance on implementing solutions and recommend high-value learning deliverables.
  • Project Management: Manage a variety of projects to support business strategies while adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Learning Delivery: Ensure the delivery of learning programs to enable leaders and employees to meet performance objectives.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Participate in managing vendor relationships, ensuring service agreements are met.
  • Strategic Initiative Support: Assist in tracking metrics and milestones for strategic initiatives.
  • Change Management: Support change management activities of varying scopes.
  • Tailored Messaging: Aid in developing tailored messaging, including writing and distributing communications.
  • Industry Monitoring: Continuously monitor industry developments to keep programs competitive and effective.
  • Specialist Resource: Operate at an enterprise-wide level, serving as a specialist resource for senior leaders.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Apply expertise to address complex situations and find innovative solutions.
  • Adaptability: Implement changes in response to evolving trends.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in learning design and facilitation.
  • In-depth program management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on execution.
  • Professional background combining education, experience, and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient influence skills.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills, emphasizing cross-group collaboration.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Salary: $84,156,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried
