Drywall Installer Job Description

At Lincoln Interiors Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • On-the-road job with 40 hours of work per week
  • Dental plan and permanent employment
