Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with our clients in a variety of settings, including home and community. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills. As an Occupational Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop individualized therapy care plans for clients in their homes and communities.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients with a range of conditions, including physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs and provide education to clients and their families.
  • Prescribe and provide equipment and supplies to support client independence and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
