About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the restaurant's financial performance is optimized.
    • Monitor and control cash flow, inventory, and labor costs to maintain profitability.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure that all restaurant systems, processes, and procedures are in place and followed by staff.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to staff.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
    • Develop and implement inventory control systems to ensure that all items are properly stored, handled, and rotated.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety, sanitation, and employee safety protocols.
    • Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute social media campaigns, email marketing, and other promotional activities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong financial management and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
