Job Title: Sewing Machine Operator

Comfort Upholstery (2003) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks to maintain efficient production.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure high-quality products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and maintain attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and accurate work.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment:

Our production team works in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be required to work in a team setting and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Working Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week.
