Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at Comfort Upholstery (2003) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sewing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate sewing machines to assemble garments or other textile products on a production basis.
  • Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks to prevent shortages.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure high-quality production.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Accurate, organized, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
