Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Rashmi's Bakery. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection
- Prepare special orders, including wedding and specialty cakes
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard
- Ensure that all products meet our established quality standards
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related environment
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
- Fast-paced environment
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Overtime required
- Standing for extended periods
- Tight deadlines
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-44 hour workweek. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and may be required to work overtime.
