Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Rashmi's Bakery. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet our high standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including wedding and specialty cakes, and cake decorating.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
