Position Overview:

In the role of Human Resources Generalist, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and play a crucial part in managing and implementing HR initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring that staffing requirements for both hourly and salaried positions align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management and key stakeholders to formulate and execute an annual HR strategy that supports the organization's goals.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for various positions, ensuring adherence to established standards, including job postings, application screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on critical HR metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations as necessary.
  • Administer HR policies and practices, implementing both corporate-wide and localized initiatives.
  • Proactively address employee relations issues by facilitating discussions and promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Manage the input of employee information into HR systems.
  • Participate in inventory management and assist with special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in various HR functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR management systems.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and effectively develop and execute plans.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
