Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at NT CASH CARRY. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained appearance.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Winter Maintenance: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability.
