Job Summary
Interior Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to support the development and maintenance of clinical information systems. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to design, implement, and evaluate clinical information systems that meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing clinical data, identifying trends and patterns, and developing recommendations for process improvements. You will also work with stakeholders to design and implement new clinical information systems, and provide training and support to healthcare professionals on the use of these systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze clinical data to identify trends and patterns, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
  2. Design and implement new clinical information systems, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  3. Provide training and support to healthcare professionals on the use of clinical information systems.
  4. Work with healthcare professionals to identify and prioritize clinical information system needs.
  5. Develop and maintain clinical information systems, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Requirements
Grade 12, graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in computer programming or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Honours Interior Health's commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA), and Pursuant to Section 42 of the BC Human Rights Code, preferential consideration and/or hiring will be given to qualified applicants who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit).
