Position Overview

Are you a seasoned professional in Construction Contract Administration with a focus on extensive Infrastructure initiatives? Have you effectively collaborated with Project and Construction Managers to ensure that infrastructure aligns with project specifications? Parsons Corporation is in search of a Construction Contract Administrator to support our Senior Project Team on significant Infrastructure endeavors. In this capacity, you will:


• Manage the construction contract on behalf of the owner/client, typically representing a governmental body or municipality.

• Ensure that construction activities comply with contract documents and specifications.

• Oversee payment processes and resolve disputes with contractors.

• Generate financial reports related to contract costs, funding increments, contract values received within specified periods, and project status updates.

• Track project progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

• Address construction challenges through Requests for Information (RFI), Site Instructions, and Change Order processes.


• Supervise the Quality Assurance program and manage Non-Conformance issues related to the work.


• Lead the inspection and administrative teams engaged in the project.

• Undertake additional responsibilities pertinent to this role as necessary.

Qualifications:

A combination of the following educational background and experience is essential:


• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, along with relevant experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in construction administration.

• Registration with PEO or OACETT in good standing.

• Familiarity with Contract Administration requirements.

• Understanding of applicable design standards, OPS specifications, standard drawings, and quality control/quality assurance testing methods.

• Knowledge of transportation construction practices and related quality assurance procedures.

• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word and Excel, including experience with specific software and material payment calculation methods.

• A valid G License is required.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to draft memos and technical reports. A proven track record in managing large municipal and transportation engineering projects, along with demonstrated success in leading a team of inspectors, engineers, and technologists, is essential.
