Job Title: Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at The Bucket Shop Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and constructing foundations for machinery. Additionally, the candidate will be required to repair or replace defective machinery parts, fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, and estimate costs and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Construction and Fabrication: Construct foundations for machinery and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for maintenance and repair work.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. The candidate will also be required to work with electrical and electronic controls, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
