About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Monki Breakfast Club & Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional service and cuisine.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of all kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure that we are always stocked with the freshest and highest-quality products.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that our kitchen meets all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that our service standards are consistently high and that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Education: A culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning, kitchen management, and staff supervision.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
