About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Cambridge Volkswagen Inc. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive problems
  • Test and inspect automotive systems and components
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
