As an Automotive Service Technician at Kieswetter Mazda, you will be responsible for completing repairs and services as per assigned repair orders, using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
You will also be responsible for road testing motor vehicles and testing automotive systems using diagnostic tools, reviewing work orders and discussing worth with service advisors, and providing repair and servicing recommendations to service advisors and discussing parts availability with the parts department.
Additionally, you will utilize a computer to punch on and off jobs and document repair progress and diagnoses, and stay up-to-date on factory training, recall notices, service actions, and other manufacturer requirements.

QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must be a registered 310S technician or a 3rd/4th year apprentice, hold a valid Ontario Driver's License, and possess detail-oriented and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication skills and computer literacy.
Work ScheduleThe work schedule for this role is Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm, Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, and half-day Saturday shifts during the spring/fall tire season (4-8 per year).
