About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at PEAK HOSPITALITY LTD. as a Kitchen Manager. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu execution.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support personnel.
    • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Implement and maintain strict food safety and quality control procedures to ensure that all food served meets our high standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and equipment to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and motivated kitchen staff.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of quality and service.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and control kitchen costs to ensure that we are meeting our budgetary targets.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role is an asset.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and other physical demands. A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
