As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
