Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure a smooth event experience.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate arrangements for food, beverages, and other event-related services.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor events to meet their expectations.
  • Operations Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
    • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.
    • Cost products and services to ensure optimal pricing and profitability.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, addressing their complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote events and services.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure a strong network of partners.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
