Job Title: Director of Corporate and International Taxation

Targray is seeking an experienced Director of Corporate and International Taxation to join our team at our headquarters in Montreal, Quebec. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our tax strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and providing guidance to our business leaders on tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Lead a team of tax professionals in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance to business leaders on tax-related matters, including tax planning and compliance
  • Manage the company's tax compliance in all operational jurisdictions
  • Oversee the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and strategies
  • Lead the company's indirect tax team and oversee the sales tax, VAT, and fuel tax filings
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate and international taxation, including 3 or more years of leadership experience
  • Experience at a top 4 accounting firm is an asset
  • Experience in commodities trading, supply chain management, or logistics is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Canadian and US tax rules is required
  • Experience with Switzerland, India, and other jurisdictions is an asset
