Job Summary

The Server is a key member of our team at John Molson Public House, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, interacting with customers, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take food and beverage orders, enter orders accurately, and deliver orders to guests in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Follow HMSHost customer service, adult beverage, and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality of food.

Requirements

  • Meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • At least 6 months of closely related serving experience, with a preference for high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
