Position: Aerospace Structural Engineer
We are in search of skilled Aerospace Structural Engineers to become part of our team in Port Alberni, British Columbia. The chosen candidates will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Crafting innovative aerospace structural and mechanical designs, modifications, and repairs
- Offering continuous support for both existing and new designs/products
- Generating design documentation to ensure airworthiness compliance
- Compiling engineering reports and data packages necessary for certification
- Collaborating with regulatory authorities to secure design approvals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in aerospace design
- Experience with regulatory approval authority delegation is advantageous
- CFD modeling experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes
- Exceptional project management capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
