Job Title: Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or other healthcare professionals, maintaining stock of pharmaceutical supplies, and checking prescriptions for proper dosage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or other healthcare professionals
  • Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage
  • Maintain medication profiles of customers, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs
  • Control the quality of drug products during production to ensure they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability, and safety
  • Evaluate labelling, packaging, and advertising of drug products
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
