About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team at Ideal Glass Inc. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a watertight seal
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and function
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to maintain high-quality standards
  • Transport cases of glass safely and efficiently
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, adhering to safety protocols
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and gloves for on-site safety
  • 3 years of experience in glazing or a related field
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
