Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Glass Requirements

Read and Interpret Blueprints

Carefully review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the work requirements and ensure a smooth installation process.

Measure and Cut Glass

Accurately measure and cut glass to fit specific frames and settings, using precision tools and techniques.

Assemble and Install Glass Systems

Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, ensuring a secure and level fit.

Install Hardware and Fixtures

Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.

Repair and Maintain Glass Structures

Repair glass doors, windows, and other glass structures, using specialized techniques and equipment.

Estimate Costs and Materials

Accurately estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced environment, often at heights, and in various weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in glass installation and glazing.

Language

English language proficiency.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
