Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Commanding Construction LTD. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure a precise finish.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and floats.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to complete the finishing process.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Exposure to dust, cold, heat, and noise.
  • Work may be performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
