Concrete Finisher

Ashton's Concrete Ltd is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces.
Job Summary:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
- Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operates power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Imparts desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Applies hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
- Repairs, resurfaces, and replaces worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Physically demanding work environment with handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Gasoline paid.
- Transportation provided by employer.
- Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition and on-the-job training tailored to youth.
