Job Title: Research and Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Manager to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in plastics manufacturing and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new products and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures to support production.
  • Train and direct staff in various areas of responsibility, including plastics processing machine operators.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing and research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
