HubSpoke, Inc. is in search of skilled Information Security Advisors to enhance our team. Your role will involve the examination and evaluation of various processes and technologies within governmental sectors.

Who You Are
You are an individual with experience as an IT Security Specialist or a Risk Management Analyst, particularly focused on governmental departments, especially in defense. You are dedicated to guiding clients on optimal practices, ensuring top-tier security measures.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate, scrutinize, and implement relevant IT security regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Detect and analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and risks associated with IT systems, cloud solutions, and networks.

• Create reports and evaluations including data security analyses, threat evaluations, risk assessments, and security briefings.

• Execute certification tasks such as formulating security certification strategies, validating security measures, and performing security testing and evaluations.

• Carry out accreditation tasks including reviewing certification outcomes, ensuring adherence to security regulations and standards, and granting operational approvals.

• Assess, analyze, and apply networking protocols, secure IT frameworks, and security measures.

• Oversee IT security configurations and evaluate security tools and methodologies.

• Provide insights and reports based on security data evaluations.

• Prepare technical documentation supporting IT security solutions and implementations.

• Develop and present training materials pertinent to the respective areas.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience as an Information Security Advisor (performing many of the tasks listed above)

• More than 7 years of experience working within governmental sectors in Canada

• A minimum of two projects related to National Defense initiatives.

• Hold Government Clearance at the Secret Level.

• A university degree in a relevant technology field.
