Position Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the formulation and enforcement of IT security policies, guidelines, and best practices while identifying and evaluating potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks associated with IT infrastructures and networks.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Examine, interpret, and implement pertinent IT security policies, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Detect and evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to IT infrastructures, cloud solutions, and networks.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and evaluations, including data security analyses, threat evaluations, risk assessments, and security briefings.
  • Conduct certification and accreditation processes, including the development of security certification strategies and ensuring adherence to security policies.
  • Oversee IT security configurations, assess security tools and methodologies, and provide insights and reports based on data evaluations.
  • Draft technical documentation supporting IT security solutions and implementations, and create educational materials.
Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience as an Information Security Advisor.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a governmental context.
  • A minimum of two projects focused on National Defense initiatives.
  • Possession of Government Clearance at the Secret Level.
  • A university degree in a relevant technology field.
